Wigan boss Paul Cook only recently said the striker was not for sale, with the club already turning down four offers.“I think Sunderland have made four bids for Will, but the fact we’ve rebuffed four bids, you can clearly see our intent is not to sell players,” he said.“Unfortunately, everybody is expecting them to come back, but we want to strengthen and keep our better players.”Grigg, 27, fired Wigan to promotion last season, but has scored just three times in 10 Championship appearances for the Latics, who are currently 20th in the table. However, he has a remarkable record in League One. In his last three seasons, Grigg has netted 64 times in that division for Wigan and Brentford. Sunderland are also reported to be in talks with Celtic over winger Lewis Morgan.Manager Jack Ross worked with the 22-year-old at St Mirren and is looking to bring him to the Stadium of Light on loan for the remainder of the season. The Black Cats have failed to score more than once in their past six games and Ross is desperate to add more firepower to his squad. They currently sit fifth in League One, six points off leaders Luton Town, having drawn four of their last five matches.
